LEADERSHIP TEAM

John Sellinger & Hank Sender

Landis Cyclery ENVE Off Road Racing was founded by lifelong cyclists and racing advocates John Sellinger and Hank Sender with a shared vision: to create a team that develops athletes, strengthens the cycling community, and helps bridge the gap between local racing and national-level competition.

Both John and Hank have spent decades immersed in the sport as racers, coaches, event organizers, advocates, and community leaders. Through their work with Landis Cyclery, the Valley of the Sun Stage Race, the Arizona Cycling Association, Desert Vista Mountain Bike Team, and numerous cycling initiatives throughout Arizona, they have helped create opportunities for athletes at every level of the sport.

Their goal for Landis Cyclery ENVE Off Road Racing is simple: build a team that provides meaningful support for riders pursuing their highest potential while fostering a culture of sportsmanship, mentorship, and community. From junior development to elite competition, the team is committed to helping athletes grow, compete, and represent the sport with integrity.

Whether supporting a rider chasing a national podium or helping someone line up for their first race, John and Hank believe cycling has the power to change lives, build lasting relationships, and strengthen communities.

ELITE TEAM

KYLE TRUDEAU

Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Kyle has spent his entire life on two wheels. He grew up racing motocross before shifting his focus to cycling while attending the University of Arizona. Drawn to the endurance and strategy of cross-country mountain bike racing, he also competed in road races whenever the opportunity arose.

After graduating, Kyle continued his cycling career with a focus on marathon-distance mountain bike racing. As gravel racing gained popularity, it became a natural addition to his calendar, combining the elements he enjoys most from both road and mountain bike competition.

When he’s not working or training, Kyle enjoys hunting for his next Facebook Marketplace project and bringing new life to whatever automotive or mechanical gem he happens to find.

PERFORMANCE TEAM

MATAN SOPHER

Matan Sopher grew up in Englewood, New Jersey, where his passion for endurance sports began at just six years old, riding alongside his dad during Ironman triathlon training. As a teenager, he competed nationally in triathlon while also running varsity cross country and track in high school. After injuries brought his running career to an end, Matan shifted his focus to cycling—a discipline that had always been his favorite—and quickly found success on the bike.

While earning his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Arizona, Matan raced collegiately for the University of Arizona Cycling Team while also competing for the Landis/Trek Domestic Elite Team. His racing experience spans road, gravel, and mountain biking, including some of the country’s premier events such as the Tour of the Gila and Redlands Classic.

Today, Matan continues pursuing his road-racing ambitions while embracing the challenges of gravel and mountain-bike competition.

“Part of my attraction to gravel and mountain biking is the connection to nature they provide and the focus they demand,”Matan says. “When I first got into endurance sports, my favorite part was escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Off-road racing takes place in incredible environments, and the unpredictable terrain forces you to stay completely present. Those are two things that motivate me to give everything I have.”

Away from racing, Matan has a passion for the automotive world—particularly quirky, underappreciated cars. Whether he’s wrenching on his own collection, browsing Marketplace while trying to resist buying another 30-year-old Volvo, or reviewing unique vehicles for his YouTube channel, you’ll usually find him with grease on his hands or a camera nearby.

JOEY PESHEK

Born and raised in Arizona, Joey has developed a passion for mountain biking through years of racing and competition. As a student-athlete with the University of Arizona Cycling Team, he continues to balance academics and racing while pursuing his goals in cross-country mountain bike competition.

After competing at Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals, Joey has set his sights on continuing to develop as a rider and test himself against stronger competition. His focus remains on gaining experience, improving each season, and progressing toward bigger goals in the sport.

When he’s not training or racing, Joey enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new trails, and embracing the process of becoming a better athlete both on and off the bike.

Excited for what’s ahead. Let’s get to work.

TYLER MOORE

An Arizona native, Tyler brings a unique blend of a deep aerobic engine and sharp bike handling skills to the dirt. A former collegiate runner and desert motorcycle racer, he transitioned his focus to cycling three years ago and currently maintains a dedicated training volume to grow his cycling capacity.

Since stepping into the gravel scene, he has embraced the steep learning curve of mass-start off-road racing by tackling ultra-endurance distances right out of the gate, highlighted by a strong age-group finish in the grueling BWR Gravel Series. For the upcoming season, his sights are set on a full campaign in the Arizona Gravel Series, with a focus on building tactical consistency and contesting the front of the pack.

When he’s not training or racing, Tyler enjoys spending time outdoors, supporting the local sports community, and embracing the process of developing as an athlete both on and off the bike.

JUNIOR TEAM

TYLER PEARCE

Hey, I am Tyler, 17 (soon to be 18), and have been racing XC mountain bikes since the 4th grade. I also competed in swimming, running, and triathlons when I was younger, but I found my passion in mountain biking. My favorite trails in Tucson are the upper 50-year tech trails. I lived in Tucson my whole life until my junior year of high school. My family then moved to Virginia for a year, giving me the opportunity to compete on the East Coast, where I gained valuable experience. In August, we will be back in Arizona, and I will race my final high school season and prepare for my first U23 race season. I am excited to try some other styles of racing this year, including gravel races, more endurance races, and a bit of road racing. I plan to continue racing the US Pro Cup season and hope to race some overseas UCI races one day. Outside of cycling, I have 2 brothers and 1 sister, all of whom also race mountain bikes. I enjoy fixing things. I am the family mechanic for all of our bikes. I plan to go into either heavy machinery repair or become a welder.
